Lucy is a diclonius, a human mutant with horns and telekinetic powers in the form of high-vibrating “arms” called vectors that can infect male humans with a diclonius “virus” so they will father only diclonius children as their offspring, and these vectors can also slice through objects or people. Lucy is the Queen diclonius, meaning she is the only one capable of reproduction, and ages at the same rate as humans unlike silpelit diclonii who age twice as fast.
