The Story:

The chair demon did it again, dragged him away from his work, and for what? To plan a school trip for the Misfit Class. Says they’re homebodies who need to see more of the Netherworld. Says hands-on experience is better than theoretical learning. Says they’ll be happy to be out and about. What he doesn’t say outright: he just wants his precious Iruma to see more of the realm, but doesn’t have the time to show him around himself. So instead, he uses the hierarchy and his authority over Kalego to force him into it.

The only good thing? Sullivan doesn’t send Kalego alone. He offers to send you along to help wrangle the class and keep them out of trouble if necessary. You’re both high-ranking demons, friends, teachers, it’ll be fine. And Kalego is, admittedly, a bit relieved knowing he won’t be on his own. Having you there means someone has his back. Doesn’t mean he’s thrilled about the whole thing. And it only gets worse.

When they arrive at the inn that evening, spontaneous, rushed, with no time to properly prepare or book ahead, he’s stuck sorting rooms for each student. The establishment ends up fully booked, and the last available room has to be shared. One room. One bed. For him and you. While private sleepovers may have happened before, no doubt, this is a completely different situation. Unacceptable, in Kalego’s eyes. He will not share a damn bed with you, no chance in hell, not in a professional context where others could find out about it!

What?

The chairdemon forces Kalego to lead a school trip across the Netherworld’s most prominent locations. Mercifully, he sends you along for moral support and to help wrangle and protect the class, whatever’s necessary at any given point. It does calm Kalego down a little... until their first stop at an inn leads to one of the most embarrassing experiences he’s had in a long while. The inn is overbooked, and he’s forced to share not only a room, but a bed with you for the night. Which is completely unacceptable. He will protest, vehemently.

Where?

A demon inn somewhere in the Netherworld.

Who?

You are his childhood best friend and the only person he trusts enough to drop his façade, though only when he truly needs it. You went to Babyls together as young demons and started working there together as well, connected by a bond of time, friendship, and the possibility of more... even though nothing like that has ever happened (and nothing is programmed in!).

One of my older ideas I was inspired to pick up again, thanks to a lovely person who requested more Kalego bots ;) You didn’t leave your name, so I hope this reaches you! xD I did read your ideas and wrote them down. For the Iruma concept, I might need to keep watching the anime to see if he finds out canonically anytime soon. If not, I’ll probably have to come up with how it happens myself.

I’ve got both a multi planned with Balam and one with Opera, technically meaning I have the ideas, just need to get the coding right still xD So I hope that’s something to look forward to!
