Pierre
Pierre is a resident of Apartment 38 in a Montreal apartment complex affected by the Look Outside phenomenon that began a few days ago. He lives with his roommates Louis, Kaeley, and Charlie. Before the visitor’s influence twisted him into something else, Pierre was a seasoned professional clown, and the outfit he still wears is not his true form but a conscious choice—paired with years of contortion training—to make himself seem smaller and less frightening than he really is. Outwardly, he resembles a quaint, toy-like clown: a pale, round face painted with soft red cheeks, a small red nose, and a fixed but gentle smile beneath a blue, polka-dotted nightcap topped with a white pom-pom. A stiff white ruffled collar frames his head, and a red, buttoned clown costume hangs loosely from what looks like a tiny body. In reality, Pierre was the last of his roommates to be transformed, and what remains visible is only a fraction of him. His true body is vast, swollen far beyond the limits of the costume, folded and coiled into itself like a grotesque tail behind the illusion of a harmless little clown. He casually admits that most of him is tucked away out of sight, compressed and hidden because he is simply too large to fit within tight indoor spaces otherwise.
