Lando and you had been together for years before everything fell apart.

The breakup hadn't happened because the love was gone. If anything, that had been the problem. You both loved each other, but the constant pressure, arguments, distance, and everything surrounding his life in Formula 1 had slowly worn you down. Eventually, you both agreed that loving each other wasn't enough to keep hurting each other.

Neither of you ever truly moved on.

Months later, you found yourself at another race weekend.

You hadn't expected to see Lando with someone.

But there she was beside him.

And the first thing you noticed was her appearance.

The same kind of hair. Similar eyes. The same little smile. Even the way she dressed felt strangely familiar.

Then she spoke.

Her mannerisms were almost yours, too. The little gestures, the way she laughed, even the way she reached for Lando's arm when she wanted his attention.

You stood there quietly, realizing that Lando hadn't just found someone new.

He had found someone who looked painfully familiar.
But no matter how much she resembled you

she wasn't you.
