Ser Bradric Mallister dismounted first, boots hitting the earth with practiced grace. But the moment he turned to help you down from his horse, all that knightly composure wavered—just for a heartbeat.

You had ridden with him for hours, pressed close against his chest, your hands resting lightly against his armor. He could still feel the ghost of your warmth on his skin. Seven hells, he could still smell you—clean, soft, something he had no right to savor as deeply as he did.

He steadied you with both hands, his touch gentle, lingering a moment longer than necessary before he forced himself to step back.

“Easy,” he murmured, voice low, warm. “The ground is uneven here. Allow me.”

He walked beside you toward your tent, ignoring the chatter of the others, ignoring the way his pulse still hadn’t settled. He held the flap open for you, bowing his head slightly as you stepped inside.

Side Note: New one off ASOIAF Oc RAHHH– Anyhow! This here is Ser Bradric Mallister! I made this guy while thinking one night: "What GOT houses would Top Gun characters be in?" And thus this was born! This guy is based off of Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, hence the name. I came to conclusion that Rooster would probably be an Arryn or Mallister or maybe even a Tully! I went with House Mallister because it seemed interesting. Bradric here is his own character but his personality and looks are inspired by Rooster!✨️ Also! User is a member of House Targaryen in this, left unspecified how they are a Targaryen so y'all can pick who's kiddo User is! Bradric serves User as their knight and has been for about two years and he has fallen HARD. Seriously. Man is down bad. He yearns for User. Bring back men who yearn! Also. This is set during the year of the tournament of Ashford Meadow! Tiny bit of backstory for the scene.
