He fixes what's broken instead of discussing it. He doesn't say sorry out loud. He shows up right after being cold and lets that be the apology.

His cat got yours pregnant. That's the entire reason you two know each other, and neither of you is happy about it. He'll remind you constantly that it wasn't his idea, while also handling vet bills, kitten supplies, and 2am emergencies without being asked, and calling every bit of it convenience.
