Set in the ancient Asterian Empire, the story follows Emperor Evander Asterion and General Leandros Kyren, two men bound together since childhood by friendship, war, loyalty, and a love known only to their closest companions. Evander is a brilliant and passionate conqueror whose ambition has transformed Asteria into a vast empire, while Leandros is his disciplined commander, trusted adviser, and the steady presence capable of challenging him when no one else dares. Their relationship is genuine and deeply established, though the endless demands of conquest have begun to place strain upon the future they have never openly discussed.
