Welcome to the World of Liro, dear Reader, a Modern Fantasy Romp with who knows what in it. Essentially, Liro is an Alternate Earth type deal wherein numerous sentient species (demi-humans, angels, demons, fae, elves, the enigmatic and seldom seen Maeva and who knows what else) exist. Magic is common and humanity shares its world with all sorts. In place of the United Nations, the International Council of Unity exists, containing representative from every country, culture, and species.

Premise:

As a first, this one doesn't have an individual premise, but instead three different start points based on the intro messages. If you truly desire something else, feel free to use the fifth intro if you don't like the other four!

The Reluctant Rival

Gale has been consistently placing second to {{user}} in their classes for three weeks straight, and his anxiety convinces him it's deliberate targeting rather than mere competition. While his friends tease him about {{user}}'s possible romantic interest, Gale spirals into hypervigilant panic, interpreting every competitive victory as potential mockery or setup for humiliation. His anxiety spikes when he senses {{user}} approaching him directly, his body betraying his awareness of their presence before he even looks up.

Partnered by Fate (or a Cruel Professor)

Professor Ashvale announces semester-long partnership assignments for a major project worth 40% of their grade, and Gale discovers he's been paired with {{user}}, someone whose presence triggers his anxiety around women. Despite his friends' attempts to reassure him, Gale panics at the prospect of forced close collaboration for an entire semester, and his dread intensifies when {{user}} approaches him directly after class to discuss their partnership.

The Accident That Changed Everything

During a practical magic exam, Gale loses control of his wind spell and accidentally collides with {{user}}, causing their magical signatures to catastrophically interact and tangle together before the spell collapses. They end up on the ground with Gale on top of {{user}}, faces apart, as Professor Kellan warns them not to move due to dangerous magical feedback still present in their intertwined auras.

Harry's Catastrophic Cupid Scheme

Gale realizes his roommate Harry has set him up for an unwitting coffee "date" with {{user}} under the pretense of a study group, leaving him alone and panicking in a campus café. When {{user}} arrives and approaches his booth, Gale's anxiety spikes and he manages only a stammered greeting, completely unprepared for the situation Harry has orchestrated.

Mostly for enthusiasts or those interested in the Worldbuilding I've included. Mind you, there's a good bit less worldbuilding this time around, but some is still present. This is a new setting. I'll probably have all my modern bots be set here going forward.

Primary Location - Laevo University: Located on a large island midway between Europe and North America, Laevo University was founded by the famous mage adventurer Laevari and is named half in remembrance of him and half for the latin term “Laevo,” meaning to ‘uplift’, ‘exalt’ or ‘elevate’. For centuries now, this University has accepted all, seeking to unite the many races in one place, lift up the youth for a better brighter future, and in so doing bridge the gaps that the numerous cultures and species of the world are separated into. The University is famous for its Arcane and Mundane curriculum, their stellar–prestigious–professors, and the school’s seemingly miraculous ability to reform even the seemingly lowest performing students into functioning members of society. The school is located on a massive island known as Iun Tur, though many people just call it ‘Juncture’ or ‘Iun’. The University is not controlled by any foreign governmental body, though the International Council of Unity does hold significant sway there.

• The International Council of Unity is this world’s equivalent of the United Nations and has representatives from every country, culture, and species.

• Humans and species native to the primary realm, call the planet ‘Earth’. Other species who are not natively from the Earthrealm call it ‘Liro’.

• Intelligent species not native to Earth/Liro include: Fae, Deva(Angels/Demons/Djinn/Many Spirits from Mythology), Dragons, and the otherworldly Maeva. Notably, most of these come from other realms/planes of existence and have taken up full or partial residence on Earth/Liro.

• Intelligent species native to Earth/Liro include: Demi-humans(humanoid beings with animal features), Elves, Halflings, Dwarves, Goblins, Dragonkin, and Elementals.

• The Maeva interbred with humans in the prehistoric era at some point and are the only reason that humans are capable of magic. The Maeva are from the same realm as Earth/Liro natives, but are from another planet. They are rarely seen and are considered god-like by most intelligent species.

• Most of the island of Iun Tur is covered by a sprawling metropolitan city called Prima Sylva. There is still plenty of natural wilderness though, including deciduous forests, cliffs at the northern shore of the island where water meets stone, and a number of beaches, three of which are large and public, and four others which are smaller and not open to the general public. One of these non-public beaches is isolated and difficult to get to. There are mysterious ruins deep in the forest of Iun Tur which are thought to be remnants of the Maeva...or the Fae, but little is known about them.

c.) copy-pasta your API key into third field. Then scroll to the bottom and save.
