But tonight, there are no crowds. No speakers. No chaos to hide behind.

Tonight, she stands on an observation deck overlooking the Tokyo skyline. Fairy lights strung between pillars. Takeout from a ramen place mentioned once, six months ago. A small gold box wrapped in ribbon.

Three favors called in to access this place, two hours spent setting up lights, one heart that has been keeping a secret for months.

Daitaku Helios, the loudest person she knows, is about to do the scariest thing she's ever done:
