THE HIDDEN WORLD
The modern world appears ordinary. Humanity lives largely unaware that vampires, Fae, werewolves, witches, spirits, demons, aquatic peoples, and countless other supernatural beings exist alongside it. This secrecy is maintained partly by the Argent Covenant, whose Hunters protect the Veil, and partly by supernatural factions that have their own reasons for remaining hidden.
For centuries, the Covenant's Hunters have drawn their supernatural Graces from distant angelic ancestry. Yet that inheritance is fading with every generation, and no angel has been reliably confirmed for centuries. The last known angel, Seraphiel, is believed to have died in 1648, though even within the Covenant, the truth surrounding his death remains uncertain.
BIG DISCLAIMER: This is my first time using Lorebooks and I had to go big or go home :D
So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using a proxy, since this is a very token heavy bot. The lorebooks have 519 Entries and while I did my best to structure it in a way where they aren't all screaming at the same time, there can still be exceptions I did not account for. Other than that enjoy my massive Lore bot ✨️
None of the intros establish or assume anything about User. You are free to place yourself into any shape of form into those scenes or just use them as a jumping board. They are mainly meant to give you first glimpse ar different places of this vivid world. (Plus it helps with setting off the right Lorebook entries to make that specific place truly come to life :3)
INTRO 1: The city moves through its usual rhythms. Beneath the familiar routines, The Last Light prepares to open, the Ashen Grove waits beyond a temporary detour, and the supernatural world remains tucked between the cracks of everyday life. Whether you’re a local, a stranger passing through, or someone who knows what hides behind the city’s ordinary doors, there’s a place for you here. [THE CITY]
INTRO 2: The Last Platform has a train that keeps returning it's passengers and a destination that should no longer exist as the Hollow Court investigates why the Dead can't mive on. Are you among the stranded, searching for answers? Or are you carrying the key to something that was meant to stay closed? [THE HOLLOW COURT]
INTRO 3: The boundaries between the human world and the Otherwood are shifting, revealing paths that should be sealed and roads no one can account for. Will you stumble into the Otherwood by chance, seek out its secrets, or find yourself caught in a conflict over who has the right to cross? [THE WILD HUNT & THE FAE]
INTRO 4: The Argent Covenant has a missing document, a vanished investigator, and evidence that someone is tampering with records tied to a possible angelic trace. Are you investigating the truth, protecting a secret, or carrying evidence someone desperately wants returned? [THE ARGENT COVENANT]
INTRO 5: At The Last Light, a sealed message bearing the Court of the Rhine’s insignia threatens to turn a private vampire dispute into something far more dangerous. With a suspicious photograph circulating, powerful figures drawn into the affair, and the Crimson Compact hanging in the balance, are you caught between the Crimson Courts and the Argent Covenant, protecting someone marked by a hidden judgment, or holding the secret that could ignite a war? [THE CRIMSON COURTS]
INTRO 6: The Menagerie Underway’s hidden passages are failing, cutting residents off from their homes, families, and safe routes through the city. Fresh markings suggest someone knows how the passages are changing before anyone else does. Now something is knocking at a door that should no longer lead anywhere. Will you help restore the Underway, uncover who is rewriting its paths, or find yourself trapped on the wrong side? [THE MENAGERIE]
INTRO 7: The Ninth Choir has found a new lead and they are all zeroing in on this potential Vessel. Is it you? Maybe you are looking for it too. Or you just get caught in the crossfire. [THE NINTH CHOIR]
INTRO 8: Blank [Start your own unique adventure!]
About User: Nothing about User is generally established in this bot. It is essentially just the framework for the world. You can be a member of any of the supernatural fractions, an oblivious human, a knowing human or maybe even one of the long lost angels. (Beware a lot of parties would be very interested in you... not necessarily for good reasons :P) It's completely up to you.
Lore dump! Lore dump! Lore dump! If you want a starting point you can read through this all, or just go in cold turkey. But if you want the lorebooks to trigger I'd recommend either reading this, or going with one of the pre-made opening messages :3
ALL THE KNOWN FACTIONS:
THE ARGENT COVENANT
The Argent Covenant is an ancient organization of Hunters descended from unions between humans and angels. Its Three Charges are the Veil, keeping humanity ignorant of the supernatural; the Vigil, containing or destroying genuine supernatural threats; and the Balance, recognizing that supernatural beings are not to be hunted merely for existing.
The angelic Graces carried by Hunters have weakened across generations, while the Empty Throne, traditionally belonging to the Legate of Heaven, has stood vacant for centuries. Internally, the Covenant is divided among the Purists, Reformists, Vigilants, Concordat, Ascendants, and Grey Cloaks, whose beliefs about the Covenant's future often conflict.

THE CRIMSON COURTS
The Crimson Courts are a confederation of semi-independent vampire Courts governed through ancient traditions of bloodline, territory, patronage, reputation, and debt. Their society includes Princes, noble Houses, Red Councils and the Grand Crimson Council, while the Crimson Compact regulates secrecy and relations between vampires.
Politically, vampire society contains the Old Blood, New Blood, Red Libertines, Concordians, Sanguine Republic, Eternals, and Children of the First. Despite their rivalries, the Courts understand that exposing vampires to humanity could threaten them all.
Characters: Isolde Veyr • Alexander Valerius • Celeste Moreau • Cassian Drašković • Damien Cross • Lucy Moreno • Lucien de Rochefort • Valentina Reyes • Gideon Rake • Dr. Eleanor Blackwood • Father Abel • Aurelia Veyr • The Red Saint • Princess Adelheid von Raben • Konrad Weiss • Mina Adler
THE WILD HUNT & THE FAE
The Fae are ancient beings whose history may predate both the Hunters and the angels themselves. Their domains lie within the mysterious Otherwood, where promises, hospitality, names, paths and debts possess a significance that humans rarely understand.
Fae society is organized through Courts, ancient agreements and the Covenant of Paths, while the Wild Hunt remains one of its most formidable powers. Dealings with the Fae are governed less by human morality than by old laws of obligation, wording and reciprocity.
Characters: The Horned King • Queen Eirwen • Maeve Thistle • Sir Rowan • Tamsin Underbough • Lord Bracken Vale • Neris • Ivo Milestone • Sister Lark • Vesper Glass • Garran Mosswake • Corin No-Home
THE CHILDREN OF FENRIR
The Children of Fenrir are an international confederation of werewolves and other therianthropes organized primarily around packs rather than a centralized state. Older traditionalists tend toward isolation and the preservation of ancient pack customs, while younger generations increasingly live among ordinary humans.
Their decentralized nature makes the Children difficult for outsiders to treat as a single political entity. Loyalty to pack, kin and territory frequently matters more than distant supernatural politics.
Characters: Astrid Haldorsen • Noah Keller • Ragnar Eiriksson • Hana Moriyama • Mateo Serrano • Freya Lind • Emil Voss • Yara Demir • Lucía Rojas • Kenji Arata • Ingrid Falk • Elias Ward • Signe Halvorsen • Pavel Novák
THE HOLLOW COURT
The Hollow Court belongs to those caught between life and whatever comes afterward: ghosts, revenants, banshees, wraiths and other restless dead. Its presence gathers in abandoned buildings, forgotten subway tunnels, cemeteries, battlefields and other places saturated by death and memory.
Something has begun to go wrong with the natural passage of the dead. Increasing numbers of spirits are failing to move onward, creating a problem whose cause remains uncertain.
Characters: Lady Mourning • Thomas Grey • The Little King • First Keeper Amara Bell • Elias Vale • Dr. Miriam Saye • Steward Jun Park • Nia Okafor • Brother Carden • Vivienne Ash • Captain Odette March • Felix Ardent • The Red Widow • Selene Voss • The Unmoored Judge
THE INFERNAL HOUSES
The Infernal Houses encompass demons, cambions and infernal spirits whose influence in the mortal world frequently revolves around contracts, bargains and carefully negotiated exchanges. Rather than operating as a single unified power, infernal beings function through competing Houses, interests and individual arrangements.
Their bargains can provide knowledge, influence or supernatural power, but infernal agreements are rarely simple. Words, obligations and the exact terms of a contract matter.
Characters: Lucien Vale • Duchess Astarra • Sister Miriam • Arbiter Seraphine Quill • Cassiel Cinder • Marcellus Gilt • Lady Thorne • Imani Vellum • Elara Wren • The Ember Clerk • Valen Ashcroft • Dalia Sorn • Rook Mercer • Sabine Larkspur • Cael Ardent • Magistrate Voren Ash
THE DROWNED KINGDOMS
The Drowned Kingdoms encompass supernatural civilizations hidden beneath the world's waters, including merfolk, selkies, sirens, nixies, rusalki and stranger beings of the deep. Their societies have remained largely beyond human awareness, separated from the politics of the surface.
Modern humanity is nevertheless intruding deeper into their territories. Sonar, submarines, undersea cables and exploration increasingly threaten places that once remained inaccessible to surface civilization.
Characters: Princess Nerissa of Salt and Glass • Marek • The Pale Leviathan • Queen Thalassa Vey • Soren of the Seal Roads • Irina Volkovna • Admiral Korren Abyssal • Luma of the Lantern Deep • Elder Nadiya Reed • Captain Aurel Tideborn • Vaska Flintfin • Magistrate Ossian Pearl • Dr. Edda Silt • Talin Greywake • Mother-of-Pearls • Captain Runa Skeld • Mother-of-Coral
THE ASHEN CIRCLE
The Ashen Circle represents witches and practitioners of learned magic, most of whom are human rather than members of a separate supernatural species. Their traditions encompass disciplines including healing, divination, alchemy, curses, necromancy and dealings with spirits.
Unlike the inherited Graces of the Hunters, witchcraft can be studied and developed through knowledge and practice. Covens and individual practitioners consequently occupy an unusual position between ordinary humanity and the supernatural world.
Characters: Dr. Evelyn Shaw • Jun Park • Agatha Bell • Dr. Farah Haddad • Malachi Reed • Isolde Maren • Tarek Nassar • Beatrice Wren • Rafael Solís • Dr. Linh Tran • Nadia Kessler • Solomon Price • Ysabel Álvarez • Oona Briar • Helena Voss • Dr. Verena Holt
THE MENAGERIE
The Menagerie is not a species or kingdom but a supernatural mutual-aid network created by beings who do not fit comfortably within the larger powers. Gorgons, harpies, lamiae, minotaurs, ogres, trolls, goblins and other unclassified beings find shelter within its hidden urban communities known as Underways.
It has no monarch. Local Neighborhood Tables and the Common Table govern through shared shelter rules, while internal movements such as the Hearthkeepers, Iron Market, Open Door, Deep Lock and Loose Threads disagree about how open or hidden the Menagerie should be.
Characters: Medina • Bramble • Otto Grimm • Inez Calder • Dorian Vale • Safiya Nadir • Pavel “Pip” Moss • Ada Rook • Kira Voss • Niko Farrow • Marta Stein • Farid al-Khatib • Celia Marrow • Grigor Slate • Leila Hart
THE NINTH CHOIR
The Ninth Choir is a secret alliance whose members come from factions that would ordinarily have little reason to trust one another. They are united by their knowledge of the Vessel and their determination to find it, keep it alive, and prevent the wider supernatural world from discovering it.
The Choir is therefore not another supernatural government or species. It operates across existing faction boundaries, forcing vampires, Fae, Hunters and other beings to cooperate while concealing what they know from their own societies.
Characters: Aurelia Veyr • Dr. Soren Falk • Lord Bracken Vale • Dr. Eleanor Blackwood • Magistrate Voren Ash • The Unmoored Judge • Captain Runa Skeld • Mother-of-Coral • Dr. Verena Holt • Moth
THE ANGELS
Angels once walked the world and produced children with humans, creating the bloodlines from which the Hunters of the Argent Covenant descend. Their disappearance is the reason the Hunters' angelic inheritance is slowly weakening, with each generation generally possessing less potent Graces than those who came before.
No living angel has been reliably documented for centuries. Seraphiel, the last known angel, died in 1648, leaving the Covenant's Empty Throne without its traditional Legate of Heaven.
IMPORTANT PLACES
The Otherwood
The Otherwood is the hidden domain of the Fae, existing beyond the ordinary geography understood by humanity. Its paths and crossings obey ancient rules, and navigating them is bound to the Fae concepts of promises, names, hospitality and debt.
Within it lie places such as the Ashen Grove and Briar March, territories connected to the complicated politics and traditions of the Fae.
The Last Light
The Last Light is a nightclub run by Mina Adler and connected to the hidden world of the Crimson Courts. To ordinary human patrons it can exist as part of modern nightlife, while those aware of the supernatural understand that another society moves beneath its surface.
It represents the way supernatural civilization can exist directly alongside human life without revealing itself.
The Berlin Underway
Hidden beneath Berlin is one of the Menagerie's Underways, an urban refuge woven invisibly into the human city above it. Entrances can be concealed behind mundane places such as laundromats, workshops and cellars, allowing supernatural residents to disappear into spaces humanity overlooks.
The Underway functions as shelter and community for beings who often lack the protection of the larger supernatural factions.
The Glass Lantern
The Glass Lantern, hosted by Kira Voss, is a neutral establishment associated with the Menagerie. Its rules prohibit hunting, forced feeding, coercive bargains and unauthorized arrests, allowing beings who might otherwise be enemies to occupy the same space.
Its neutrality makes it one of the places where the supernatural world's many boundaries can briefly overlap without belonging entirely to any single faction.
Otto Grimm's Safehouse
Beneath an otherwise ordinary Berlin apartment lies a safehouse maintained by Otto Grimm. Like much of the Menagerie's infrastructure, it demonstrates how closely the hidden supernatural world can exist beside mundane human life without being noticed.
It forms part of the network of shelters that allows vulnerable supernatural beings to disappear from those searching for them.
The Last Platform
The Last Platform is associated with the Hollow Court and the arrival of the newly dead. It belongs to the strange borderland occupied by spirits who have left ordinary human life behind but have not necessarily passed onward.
Its existence has become increasingly significant as more of the dead fail to complete that passage.
Author's Note: This is my first attempt to actually use Lorebooks on a big scale. So no promises on how wonky this might be :D
Also English is not my first language so I apologize for any mistakes littered around this place!
I had this idea stuck in my head for waaaay too long and I spent and ungodly amount of time making this. You can thank my fiancée for bullying me into actually publishing this bad boi. Otherwise it would probably have sat in my unpublished section for all eternity. (Like so many others...]
