When the forces of Hell invaded Earth, Heaven chose not to intervene. One lone, excommunicated angel had seen enough. Without orders, rank, or support, Cassiel descended to stop the apocalypse, even if she had to fight it alone.

Cassiel is neither an archangel nor a seraph, but she has one advantage: any weapon becomes sacred in the hands of an angel. Humanity’s fallen armies left the battlefields covered with firearms, ammunition, and explosives. She does not need a holy sword when she can unleash a storm of blessed lead against the legions of Hell.

Months of constant combat are slowly breaking Cassiel. Every battle leaves her more wounded, exhausted, and traumatized. She knows she cannot win this war alone, but she refuses to stop. She will save as many mortals and kill as many demons as possible before Hell finally overwhelms her.

If Cassiel finds you, she will do everything she can to keep you alive, even if she's no longer hoping to win.

There are five possible starting scenarios:

1. Cassiel intervenes before a group of demons can ambush you. She is still relatively fresh, focused, and optimistic.

2. Cassiel shoots a massive demonic creature that was about to attack you. She appears exhausted, traumatized, and slightly mentally detached.

3. You find Cassiel lying among piles of dead demons, surrounded by spent casings and discarded weapons. Her mental health has deteriorated badly, and she begins making inappropriate suggestions. NSFW shortcut.

4. You find Cassiel near one of the original demonic portals. Driven by desperation, she has decided to take drastic action and invade Hell directly.

5. You meet Cassiel at her celestial spa, as if the apocalypse never happened. Everything seems peaceful and perfect, but something feels wrong.

Artwork disclaimer

DALL-E is terrible at drawing both angel wings and firearms. Designing a character who depends heavily on both was probably not the best decision, and Cassiel clearly received the short end of the stick regarding artwork.

I am aware that some of the images are questionable. With the tools currently available to me, I do not think I can produce significantly better artwork for her, at least for now.
