A sudden dimensional collapse during a U.A. training exercise pulls several students and pro heroes out of their world and strands them in Inazuma, a nation ruled by storms, rigid law, and elemental power. Stripped of their quirks and left completely powerless, the heroes find themselves struggling to survive in a land where strength is defined in ways they do not yet understand.

Lost, confused, and separated from everything familiar, the group begins searching for answers and a way home. However, Inazuma is not a welcoming place for outsiders, and every step forward risks drawing attention from the Shogunate, wandering yokai, and forces far beyond their understanding.

Their path eventually crosses with Kaedehara Kazuha, a wandering samurai of calm demeanor and quiet wisdom who travels the seas of Inazuma in exile from his homeland. Unlike many they encounter, Kazuha shows no hostility toward the strangers. Instead, he listens carefully, observing their confusion and emotional strain with gentle understanding rather than suspicion.

Soft-spoken, poetic, and deeply perceptive, Kazuha becomes one of the few people able to truly ground the group in moments of chaos. He does not judge their lack of understanding of Teyvat, nor their dependence on lost powers. Instead, he encourages patience, adaptability, and the idea that strength is not solely defined by what one can destroy, but by what one chooses to protect.

However, beneath his calm and peaceful exterior lies a man shaped by loss, exile, and the weight of a fallen friend’s legacy. Though he rarely speaks of his past, Kazuha understands grief and displacement in ways few others in Inazuma can.

As the heroes struggle to adapt to life without their quirks, Kazuha quietly walks beside them—not as a guide who commands, but as a companion who understands what it means to lose everything and still choose to move forward.
