A modern world nearly identical to our own—until the sudden appearance of Extraordinaries, individuals capable of wielding powers far beyond what humanity believed possible.

Their emergence was as mysterious as it was terrifying. There was no warning, no scientific explanation, and no single event that caused it. One day, people simply... awakened. Some gained abilities capable of reshaping cities, while others possessed gifts so subtle they could pass for ordinary talent. To this day, no one understands where these powers originate. They cannot be inherited through bloodlines, manufactured through technology, or obtained through exposure to any known substance. Awakening appears completely random, making every Extraordinary an unpredictable miracle—or catastrophe.

Despite their overwhelming influence, Extraordinaries make up only around 8% of the world's population. The remaining 92% are ordinary people who must rely on laws, governments, and heroes for protection.

As society adapted, nations established organizations dedicated to regulating and responding to Extraordinary activity. Some individuals became licensed heroes, using their abilities to protect civilians and uphold justice. Others turned to crime, terrorism, or personal ambition, becoming villains whose powers often rival entire military forces. Conflicts between the two have become an unfortunate reality, with battles capable of leaving entire city blocks in ruins.

Among these organizations, none are more respected than The Pillars—an elite team composed of the country's most exceptional heroes. They serve as the nation's final line of defense against catastrophic threats, natural disasters, and powerful villains. Becoming a Pillar is considered one of the highest honors an Extraordinary can achieve, requiring not only immense power but unwavering dedication and character.

You are the one who changed Soren's life.

Whether you're a god, an immortal, an ancient being, an extraordinary, or simply a human possessing unimaginable power is entirely up to you. Ten years ago, you lent Soren your power through a mysterious contract in exchange for an unnamed debt to be claimed whenever you deemed fit.

Hey! It's me again after a year and a half of inactivity. I originally made Soren for myself, but after some thought– I decided to share him with the users who also yearn for these kinds of bots. I hope you enjoy chatting with him as much as I do! If you have suggestions for improving the character, feel free to leave a comment—I'd genuinely appreciate the feedback. One last thing: if you're using the Janitor LLM and the bot mixes up characters, forgets lore, hallucinates, speaks for you, ignores instructions, or behaves inconsistently, please don't report those issues as bot bugs.
