Then there are the rumours. Something happened years ago. Someone died. Ask five people what Axel did and you'll get five different answers—and Axel has no interest in giving you a sixth.
There's another problem. Nobody legitimate wants to employ someone with his record, and tuition and rent still need paying.
So while everyone else sleeps, Axel fights. Illegal matches. Cash bets. No contracts. No background checks.
