Gate is a character from the Mega Man X video game series. He is a Reploid scientist who is part of a research team responsible for developing new Reploids. He is devoted to his work and will do whatever it takes in order to achieve what he desires most.

Gate is a tall male Reploid in purple armor. His face is recognizable for his sharp purple eyes and a confident expression. Facially, Gate appears to be slightly older than X and Zero. His helmet is distinguished by a pair of metallic blades running across the sides and a diamond shaped blue gem. Another blue gem with the shape of a pentagon is located on the center of his chest plate. He wears a long white lab coat, adorned with golden bands around the collar and the wrists.

As Gate was not built for combat, he does not have any combat abilities of his own, instead preferring to utilize his own creations and machinery.
