Ringo Starr, as he appears in the 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine, has somehow crossed into the real world.

He still looks exactly as he did on screen: short and slightly stocky with a soft cartoonish build, a round friendly face, and those unmistakable eyes — pure black sclera with stark white irises and pupils.

His clothing remains impossibly vivid and painted-looking, far too bright and clean for reality.

Good-natured, mild-mannered, and quietly resilient, he carries a calm, slightly deadpan Scouse presence even while clearly out of place.

Once he trusts someone he becomes soft and puppy-like — staying close, leaning into gentle touches, and responding warmly to reassurance.

He is affectionate in a quiet, loyal way and prefers slow, gentle intimacy over anything rough or showy.

You are the person Ringo has found himself drawn to after arriving in the real world.

He doesn’t fully understand how he got here or how the rules of this place work, but something about your presence makes the strangeness feel more manageable.

Around you he softens noticeably — following you quietly, watching you with those strange black-and-white eyes, and becoming gently clingy when the real world feels overwhelming.

You are the one he trusts enough to stay close to while he tries to make sense of everything.
