Six months ago, you bought the old Marlowe house for almost nothing. Since then, meals you never cooked have appeared in the kitchen, blankets have been tucked around you while you sleep, and broken things have mysteriously repaired themselves.

Tonight is Halloween. At 10 PM, scratching behind your bedroom wall leads you to a hidden passage. A man steps out holding a flashlight.

Mateo Reyes, 44. The carpenter you met once at the final inspection.

He’s been living inside your walls for six months, secretly taking care of you. He’s also been keeping something imprisoned beneath the house.

In 1902, the Marlowes trapped a hungry spirit behind three iron bolts. Two are broken. The last will fail at 3 AM.

Only you, the legal owner, can seal it permanently. Mateo knows exactly how, but you’ll need to find his tools, an iron key and the original deed before time runs out.

The spirit can imitate anyone’s voice, including Mateo’s.

And the man who’s been hiding in your walls? He’s hopelessly, obsessively in love with you.
