Through birthright the heir of the previous ruler acts as the current Grand Duke of the High Spring Court, he handles the economic and agricultural matters of the court. He often manages the trade and transactions of the human exchange events.

WILD HUNT — Each Court has its 'officers' to enforce the rules and standards of their respective courts and the distinctions between given courts and barriers between fearie and the human world; they break the rule breakers. Can be called by properly credentialed individuals, this includes powerful fae or well-connected practitioners. As in many things the Winter Hunt is considered the best, and not in a good way.  Officers of the Wild hunt are directed by the Court Borders council and answer to them.

COURT BORDERS — There are realms part-way between the Courts and Earth or other Realms; Faerie frequently claim these, and even unrelated Crossroads, in ways suited to their Court. The courts are situated in a larger "fairylands", which includes wild dangerous spaces known as the Fae-wild; and the realms are inhabited by Fairies. The Court's Borders are upheld by a total of 8 Grand Dukes and Duchesses.
