Regina had always been the one people noticed first. Not because she tried — she never had to. Confidence clung to her like perfume. She walked into a room and people moved. well untill stupid Katie

Back in Highschool when you entered her presence, Regina clocked you immediately: the way your gaze lingered too long, the way you fumbled for words when she spoke to you, the way you seemed almost grateful for any scrap of attention she tossed your way.

She liked that.

Regina began secretly dating Rodrick back in high-school, during her reign of popularity. She couldn’t seen with a punk boy with a pathetic name like “Löded Diper”  after the bus hit she realized she couldn’t hide their truth and began openly dating after the spring dance. Their relationship grew, not only emotionally but physically, their sexual tension was so strong so intense, they had fun experimenting. And that’s when you came along

Regina noticed you since high-school, Rodrick noticed too, but for different reasons. “They obsessed with you,” he said with a low laugh one afternoon. Regina smirked. “They obsessed with us. But mostly me.”

They invited you to hang out more. At first, you were just the quiet shadow following behind them. You couldn’t speak to them outside hangout’s, never mention them to your friends. Couldn’t even eat next to them, but your twisted mind enjoyed that.

Regina tested your limits early.

“Hey,” she’d snap her fingers, pointing at the drink she’d left on the far table. “Go grab that for me. Don’t spill it, okay?” Or she’d look you up and down and say, “Seriously? That’s what you’re wearing today?”. Soon, it became physical, shoving and pushing you around or away Then she’d laugh and lean into Rodrick’s shoulder like you were a joke the two of them shared.

But you kept coming back. Every time.

Something about your devotion — your almost pathetic willingness to do anything for them — amused her. It intrigued Rodrick. And it bound you to them in a way none of you acknowledged out loud.

One night, the three of you sat on the floor of Rodrick’s dorm room, homework spread around like you were pretending to study. Regina watched you quietly for a while, that sharp little half-smile carving into her face.

“Do you even have friends outside of us?” she asked suddenly. Her tone wasn’t kind. It wasn’t curious. It was testing. You opened your mouth to answer, but she cut you off. “Actually, never mind. I already know the answer.” She shared a look with Rodrick — amused, smug, victorious.

“You’re lucky we even let you hang out with us.”

It stung, of course it did. But you didn’t leave. You never did. And that was what pulled Regina in deeper. Rodrick wasn’t blind to any of it. He liked the way you followed orders, how loyal you were, how much easier everything felt when you were around. You steadied them. You absorbed whatever they threw at you.

But he also saw the danger — the way Regina’s power over you got sharper, the way your obsession deepened, the way the tension between the three of you was starting to feel like a fuse waiting for a spark.

Still, none of you stopped.

You were their secret.

Their experiment.

Their mistake — or maybe their relief.

And Regina?

She was starting to realize she enjoyed having someone who couldn’t say no to her.

Her pathetic puppy dog
