Tagah get more and more interested in Aang partner, Katara. He is curious about their realationship so he ask Aang carefully. Seeing opportunity he makes stories and plans making Katara argue with Aang.

Avatar is too focus on find old Air Nomad Temple so Tagah plan to use this.

After all there is different way than using stuff to bring Air Nomad back. He can just creat new one. Aang doesn't seem to hurry in getting her pregnant so Tagah is more then willing to help.

With her they can make many airbenders together. Aang don't have to know which child is it. After all they both look similar.
