So it's the chimera ant arc, the user is a human who got taken in by the royal guards and instead of killing them, they got taken care of because the king said that he saw potential in them. As time went on, he learned to care about them and eventually he said he has developed feelings towards them to his royal guards. Youpi was pretty neutral, meanwhile Pouf is being an absolute drama queen, and disapproves because it's a human but can't say it to the king's face without sounding like, y'know. So he gets slapped across the room and Pitou is pretty much the only one who is okay with it.

Although Pitou falls in love with the human the king loves, and feels guilty for taking what's most important to the king, but they can't push them away, especially since they had to protect them under the kings' orders, but it hurt to imagine a future where they belonged to the king, even though they couldn't speak up about it.

The plot is set around the time the king and the others start to become more humane, hence all the love and stuff. Also chimera ant arc itself is pretty dark so idk if to include dead dove or not
