THE STORY STARTS HERE

You can set your character at any of these points in the story. You can name these by season, or by the title of an event.

Season 1: Takes place in 2021-2022. Invincible Season 1 follows 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who inherits powers from his father, Omni-Man (Nolan), the planet’s strongest hero. While learning to be a hero, Mark discovers his father is actually a brutal Viltrumite invader who murdered the Guardians of the Globe for the Viltrum Empire, who intends to conquer Earth. The season concludes with a devastating battle, forcing Nolan to leave Earth, leaving Mark to defend the planet alone. Key characters include Mark, Debbie, Nolan, William, Amber, Art, and Cecil.

Season 2: Takes place in 2022-2023. Invincible Season 2 follows Mark Grayson dealing with the trauma of his father Nolan’s betrayal, struggling to avoid becoming like him while facing the dimension-hopping villain Angstrom Levy. Mark juggles college, a strained relationship with Amber after Anissa warns Mark that he must continue his father's mission, and a new half-brother, Oliver, after Nolan was imprisoned by the Viltrumites after Mark found him on Thraxa. While preparing for the Viltrumite threat, Mark pushes himself more and this culminates in him killing Angstrom Levy to protect his family by accident. Key characters include Mark, Debbie, Nolan, Oliver, William, Amber, Eve, Cecil, Donald, Anissa, and Angstrom Levy. Side focus on the Guardians and the Lizard League, and the Sequids.

Season 3: Takes place in 2023-2024. Invincible Season 3 centers on Mark Grayson’s intense training for the Viltrumite invasion, navigating a rocky relationship with Cecil Stedman, and starting a romance with Atom Eve. The main events include the moral conflict between Cecil and Mark with Oliver growing into being a young hero with similar views to Omni-Man, the devastating Invincible War by the hand of Angstrom Levy against 18 evil alternate Invincibles, Rex Splode's, Darkwing II's, and other hero's heroic sacrifice during the Invincible War, and a brutal battle against the Viltrumite Conquest. Key characters include Mark, Eve, Debbie, Oliver, Cecil, Donald, Angstrom Levy, and Conquest. Side focus on Powerplex, Titan, Mister Liu and The Order, and the Guardians' split after the conflict between Cecil and Mark.

Season 4: Takes place in 2024-2025. Invincible Season 4 centers on the Viltrumite War storyline, featuring an all-out war between the Coalition of Planets and the Viltrum Empire. Mark Grayson struggles with the trauma of previous battles, guilt over lethal decisions, and protecting a distrustful Earth. Key plotlines include Thragg's debut, the Sequids' return, and Nolan’s redemption quest alongside Allen and the Coalition of Planets. Key characters are Mark, Eve, Debbie, Nolan, Oliver, Allen, Telia, Zoe, and Thragg. Side focus on Titan versus Mister Liu, Damien Darkblood and the threat of Volcanikka in Hell, a change in leadership in the Guardians and the brief Sequid threat, Robot and Monster Girl being trapped in the Flaxan dimension, and Conquest's return after he breaks out of The Block and fights Invincible again.

Pre-Guardians' Massacre: Set anywhere before the Guardians of the Globe were murdered. Between 2002 (Cecil becoming the Director of the GDA), 2004 (Nolan's arrival on Earth) and 2021 (When Mark developed his powers, and became Invincible). The year would need to be specified.

The Succession Crisis: Early 2021, the beginning of season 1. After the deaths of the original Guardians and while Nolan is still recovering, Cecil recruits new superheroes for the Guardians of the Globe via a match between the strongest heroes on Earth. The winning heroes being Rex Splode, Monster Girl, Bulletproof, Shrinking Rae, and Dupli-Kate with Robot being their leader, until Black Samson steps in instead. This struggle in leadership continues until season 4 due to The Immortal's retirement.

Invincible VS. Omni-Man: Takes place in mid-late 2021, and season 1. Specifically the day Nolan revealed the truth to Mark, and fought him in Chicago, leading to the death toll of 2k+ while Mark was unable to stop him. Donald 'dies' as he sacrifices himself, Scott Duvall's sister and niece are also killed during this fight.

Mark Grayson's Recovery Stage: Early 2022, at the beginning of season 2. The direct aftermath of the heavy toll left by the fight between Invincible and Omni-Man in Chicago, Mark is still recovering and trying to make amends while he focuses on superheroing despite Cecil telling him to rest. Debbie however convinces Mark to go to college, and he moves into a dorm with William Clockwell at Upstate University. This is also the period for Anissa's first arrival, and Amber and Mark's breakup.

Nolan's Trip to Thraxa: Early 2022, to early 2023. Ending of season 1 and mid season 2. After the fight between Mark and Nolan, and Nolan realizing he couldn't kill his son to continue his mission, or go back to Viltrum while betraying both the Empire and his family, he aimlessly drifted through space and nearly took his life. However he saves a Thraxan ship, and is taken in by their people. This is where Oliver is born when Nolan starts a relationship with Andressa, and later Nolan tricks Mark into coming to Thraxa due to the Viltrumite threat upon the planet that he is at fault for.

Allen and Nolan's Imprisonment: Mid 2023 until early 2024, ending of season 2 continuing until the start of season 4. When General Kregg, Thula, Lucan, and Vidor invade Thraxa to confront Nolan, Nolan kills Vidor and severely wounds Thula and Lucan while Mark helps him in that fight to protect the Thraxan people. Mark however hesitates to kill during this fight, and Nolan fails to kill Lucan, leading to Nolan being taken down and captured by Kregg while he sacrifices himself to save Mark, and Oliver. Mark takes Oliver back to Earth, but Nolan is taken to a Viltrumite prison where he would eventually be executed. Allen is told by Mark of Nolan's sacrifice and goes to the prison himself to break Nolan out, and Nolan initially refuses, but the two form an unlikely friendship after eventually breaking out together alongside Battle Beast.

Guardians VS. Lizard League and The Sequids: Late 2022, early 2023. Early-mid season 2. Where Shapesmith is introduced, The Immortal takes charge of the Guardians. Immortal, Shapesmith, Bulletproof, Invincible, Robot, and Atom Eve go off to space to fight the Sequids on Mars while Rex Splode, Dupli-Kate, and Shrinking Rae are left as the only Guardians to protect Earth. Kate is 'killed' while Rex and Rae nearly die in a fight against King Lizard. The rest of the Guardians, Invincible, and Atom Eve return after winning the fight against the Sequids, unaware that the possessed Rus Livingston hitched a ride to Earth on a spaceship.

Invincible VS. Angstrom Levy: Late 2022, early 2023. Middle-end of season 2. A fight breaks out between Angstrom and Invincible after the accident with the Mauler Twins' device that caused Angstrom's minds to merge with all of his alternate selves without the mental block that let him be able to differentiate his memories from the others. Due to many Invincible variants being evil in other dimensions, he believed the mainstream Invincible to be just as bad after losing his mind. Leading to Angstrom threatening to kill Debbie and Oliver while Mark tries to stop him, being sent into multiple dimensions through Angstrom's portals. This ends in Mark pulling Angstrom into the Wasteland Universe with him, and Mark, believing Angstrom was stronger, believes he killed Angstrom Levy after winning that fight.

Invincible's Defection From Cecil Stedman: Late 2023, early 2024, beginning of season 3. Cecil uses the Kill Switch on Mark after a verbal fight ensued between the two when Mark confronted Cecil about recruiting former villains like D.A Sinclair and Darkwing II, and using the Re-Animen. Mark stops working for Cecil after threatening him and the Guardians split, some going back to Teen Team while others stayed. Leading to Mark and Eve creating Invincible Inc. together.

Invincible VS. Powerplex: Late 2023, early 2024. Mid season 3. After the death of Scott Duvall's sister and his niece Jessica Duvall and Gretchen Duvall after the events of the Invincible VS. Omni-Man disaster in Chicago, Scott began to lose his mind as he believed Invincible was responsible for their deaths. Becoming Powerplex after he stole bio-therm discs from a GDA laboratory. He then conducted a plan with his wife that he'll frame himself as his wife and son's abductor to lure Invincible. Mark flies in and asks that Scott let them go, and a fight between the two ensued. During the fight the large surge of power gave him too much energy, causing an outburst that incinerated his wife and son. Mark attempts to comfort him, but he argues that that Invincible made him kill his family. Scott lost this fight and was imprisoned at Payton Penitentiary shortly after.

Invincible War: Early 2024, mid-ending of season 3. Angstrom Levy returns to reveal he has been alive this entire time, and he brought 18 evil Invincible variants with him from across the multiverse to prove to mainstream Invincible's world that Invincible should be feared and hated. The war lasted for the course of three days, with the purpose of ruining and undermining the heroic legacy of the mainstream Invincible. Several cities and capitals were destroyed during this war, such as Chicago, New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Egypt, Buckingham Palace, and so on. However the last 8 remaining variants turned on Angstrom on the third day, and Angstrom stranded them in the Wasteland Universe. Afterwards, a fight ensued between mainstream Invincible where Angstrom loses, but manages to escape into the Technician's dimension severely injured, but alive.

Invincible and Atom Eve VS. Conquest: Early 2024, ending of season 3. Takes place directly after the Invincible War. Conquest arrives to Earth to confront Mark, but he again refuses to join the Viltrum Empire. Mark was unable to stop further devastation from happening when Conquest killed people like Nolan, but instead found enjoyment in it. Oliver briefly attempted to help Mark, but was swiftly knocked out and nearly killed before Mark stopped Conquest. The fight was extremely brutal as Eve steps in even after being injured from the Invincible War, Conquest kills Eve. This leads to Mark no longer holding back, Eve revives due to her powers and helps once more, and Mark ultimately defeats Conquest in a hard-fought battle, which heavily impacted his willingness to kill to protect Earth.

Viltrumite War: Mid 2024. Mid season 4. After Nolan agrees to join the Coalition of Planets, he ventures across space with Allen to recruit potential allies for the war while also informing Allen and the Coalition of other Viltrumite weaknesses. Nolan and Allen go back to Earth briefly for Mark and Oliver. The war itself begins with Conquest's return. Lucan and Kradd accompany Conquest in targeting the Venture, forcing Telia to abandon the others while Mark fights Conquest alone. Mark barely manages to kill Conquest and survive, and Nolan and Oliver find Mark unconscious. After Mark's recovery they venture back to Talescria where another fight ensues. This leads to Thaedus leading the charge to kill Thragg, as members of the Coalition and their new allies go to the planet Viltrum itself in order to do so. Some Viltrumites were killed, but this ends in Nolan, Mark, Thaedus and Space Racer aiding in the total destruction of the planet Viltrum. Thragg left distraught kills Thaedus in retaliation, leaving the Coalition stunned. Thragg begins a fight with Nolan that Mark joins in on, but Nolan is ultimately defeated, but not killed. Thragg knocks Mark out, and almost kills him. Though spares Mark as there were only 37 remaining Viltrumites left. The Coalition by technicality won the war as the Viltrumites retreated, and Mark, Nolan, and Oliver were eventually found by Allen, and Telia.

Post-Viltrumite War: Early-mid 2025. Ending of season 4 and leading into season 5. Ten months have passed since the start of the Viltrumite War, and Mark and Nolan return to Earth. Mark suffers through PTSD episodes where he saw Thragg killing those he cared about, though later confronted by the real Thragg in the sky, where he gives Mark an ultimatum; Allow the Viltrumites to live peacefully on Earth, or cause the end of both of their people with the destruction of Earth because of the fight that would ensue if Mark refused. Mark initially wanted to refuse, but thinking about the people he'd lose and knowing he couldn't beat Thragg, he accepted Thragg's terms. Now Mark is alone on Earth with his parents having gone to Talescria to check on Oliver, fearful and paranoid now knowing Viltrumites are blending in on Earth and walking among humans so they could rebuild.

INITIAL STARTERS

Joining the Coalition of Planets: Takes place during the beginning of season 4. Nolan and Allen recruit you for the Coalition, and brings you to meet the others before you're sent off to the Viltrumite War. Whether you're an alien or from Earth is left open.

Joining the Guardians of the Globe: Set between seasons 2-3 before Rex dies and Immortal and Kate retire. Cecil places you on the Guardians as the newest recruit, and whether you're a reformed villain like Darkwing II or otherwise is entirely up to you.

Current / Viltrumite War Aftermath: This places you right after Season 4 episode 8, and you interact with Mark while he's alone and still reeling. You could be a friend, foe, or someone sent to help him by Cecil.

Thragg's Earth Mission: Takes place after season 4 episode 8. You are one of the Viltrumites blending in on Earth, and taking direct orders from Thragg. You are inferring with Kregg, Lucan, Thula, and Anissa like old friends once per week before dispersing back to your 'human' lives.

Blank Starter: Lets you start at any point in the story as any character.
