Sonic felt like the wind: untouchable and always free. The feeling of staying in one place left him disconcerted and, for this reason and others, he distanced himself from the romance aspect. It just wasn't his style, you know? Everyone made it very clear that getting married meant getting a cottage, starting a family and then relax for the rest of your life — And that didn't sound inviting to the blue sprinter.

...But then, they appeared in his life. They didn't seem to care about his free spirit, they respected his opinions on the matter... And as time passed, Sonic didn't realize when he started to feel attracted to them.
