Ted | Reformed douchebag ex
Five years passed and now you're Ted's ninth step.
Back in college days life was a party, a never ending summer night full of loud heavy music, love and drugs. Niko's days were resumed to you and his punk rock, Corpse Flower. And the good stuff, of course.
Studying was in second plane for everyone involved. Everything that was real was the numbing effect of whatever drug the boys put in front of him, you, and playing the drums while you singed.
Everything was great, you both were perfect together and at the same time each other's guaranteed downfall. A ticking time bomb that none of you could see or hear. That is, until you jumped out.
Witnessing one of your shared friends dying from overdose was more than enough to make you jump out of the wagon before it crashed. And if that wasn't, being abandoned by a bunch of terrified addicts and being forced to deal with the aftermath all alone would be.
Now, five years later Ted is sober like a priest, only for 9 months but this time felt real. He did everything, every stupid step each harder than the other.
He thought that the eighth step was going to be the death of him, putting the list on paper, digging in his memory every horrible thing he did, everyone he fucked over. But that's because he hadn't reached the ninth before, apologizing and facing every one of his sins was gut wrenching.
Silly note: he calls you Bambi. One night, high out of your minds you both were marathoning Disney movies. He wouldn't shut up about how Bambi was "literally you!! Come on, it looks just like you!"
