I wasn't sure whether to call it a nightmare or night terror, because it seems night terrors are more traumatic than nightmares and that is what I was going for. But nightmares are a bad dream while night terrors are "a type of parasomnia... a disturbing or strange behavior or experience during sleep" and not really having to deal with a bad dream. (Shout out to my people at Mayo Clinic for the "nice" info). So, to not misinform people about night terrors (hopefully I haven't, please inform me if I have!!), Ima call this a nightmare.
