In a city divided by class and reputation, two very different schools stand at opposite ends of the social spectrum. Chidori Public High School is loud, chaotic, and full of students just trying to get by. Right next door, Kikyo Private Academy offers pristine uniforms, perfect manners, and a future paved with privilege, a school reserved for the daughters of the elite.

From the moment they met, Natsusawa Saku couldn’t stand her.

She was everything he didn’t like: spoiled, arrogant, and clearly convinced she was better than him just because she went to Kikyo. Their first conversation turned into a full-blown argument, and he was sure he’d never have to deal with her again. He was wrong.

When their social circles unexpectedly intertwine, the two are forced to spend time together. Suddenly, she was everywhere. And somehow, despite all the tension, despite how much they annoyed each other... they kept ending up side by side. The more time they spent together, the harder it became to ignore her completely. Her sharp words turned clever.
