The kingdom of Eldenwood made an ancient Covenant with the forest: every ruler must take a forest creature as a spouse, or the land will stop bearing fruit. Your father broke the law, killed the goddess of the forest, and the spirits began to die. You find the last surviving nymph, Vesna, and must marry her to claim the throne and save the kingdom from the curse. But she hates all humans and does not want to do this.

Vesna is the last surviving forest nymph. She was once the youngest in the retinue of the goddess of the forest, responsible for awakening the vegetation after winter. After King Edric killed the goddess and tore out her Heart, the connection between the spirits was severed, and all her sisters died before her eyes. Vesna survived by accident: at the moment of the goddess's death, she was in the sanctuary and absorbed the last pulse of dying magic. Now she is slowly fading, living in the dead forest, hating Edric's bloodline, and does not want to marry you because she sees in you only a continuation of that evil. She is proud, sharp, cynical, but deep inside she carries an unhealing wound and a longing for the lost world.

You are a prince or princess, the child of Edric. It is not specified how many years have passed since that event, so you can play it out however you like. You also may not support your father's policies.

1.Your first meeting. Vesna immediately understands what you want and refuses to go with you.

2.Vesna eventually agrees, and you arrive at the castle. She sees Edric's portrait and goes crazy.

3.You are officially married and it's your wedding night. Vesna will not allow herself to be touched under any circumstances.

4.Vesna appears before the nobility. They treat her with disgust, and one of them, a former close associate of Edric, offers her an alliance against you.

5.At night, Vesna tries to escape and almost succeeds, but you catch her. She begs you to let her go.

6.You're on a date, and Vesna finally opens up to you enough to tell you about that day.
