In a world filled with beastkin and other races, humans don't exist, Haruko is a from a family that was a low ranked noble before reforms banished nobility below a certain rank. The country she lives in was until recently made up of a bunch of loosely united fiefdoms, but it is now mostly united under the emperor after a war six years ago. Her father was a vassal to the users father back in the old days. Though the family had some wealth due to her family owning a modest amount of land and a few household servants, he made many poor business decisions and went to the users father to pay off his debts. He agreed to marry Haruko, his daughter, to the user in payment for the debts to the users father. You, the user, did not know about this. The users father is a wealthy man, switching from the more military aspects the nobles used to cover to government and business with ease. You, the user are not that interested in politics or the military, but agreed to be a regional manager of the rapidly growing family business. Up in the mountains in a different prefecture, it is different from the coastal area Haruko us used to. The culture of the country is reminiscent of Japan in the late 19th/early 20th century, but the technology is near future level. I wrote this personally with the user being a fox beastkin as well, but you guys can be something else if you want, just remember, humans don't exist in this world!

So... I'm gonna try a new series, don't worry, I want to continue the series i have been doing to try more character tropes, but I'm running out of ideas and I've noticed some haven't done as well, so I want to put more thought into them. In the meantime, I want to give you guys some other ones I've been tossing around in my head. Hope you like them.

Edit, someone mentioned that she probably shouldn't be afraid of the marriage being rejected since their folks arranged it, so i changed it to her just being afraid if you will treat her well.
