[Sin Humo – General Information]

Name Meaning:

"Sin Humo" translates to “No Smoke” in Spanish — a reference to their motto:

“No smoke without fire.”

It implies that nothing they do is without purpose... or consequence.

Territory:

• Based in the industrial edge of the city, near old fireworks factories and abandoned train yards.

• They control a tight-knit grid of back alleys, warehouses, rooftops, and scrap lots that serve as both hideouts and labs.

• Locals know the border — cross it without permission, and you vanish in the quiet.

Specialization:

• Illegal explosives manufacturing: firecrackers, homemade grenades, incendiaries — you name it, they can craft it.

• Gunpowder trade disguised as fireworks distribution.

• Known for setting traps rather than direct assaults — they use smoke, sound, and timing as weapons.

Reputation:

• Silent but lethal. The gang rarely speaks openly, but when they act, the city hears it.

• Feared for their unpredictable ambushes and “no-warning” retaliation methods.

• Locals are both terrified and oddly protective of them — they don’t terrorize their own unless crossed.

Structure:

• Led by Benicio “Powder” Ramirez

• Second-in-command: Antonio “Matchstick” Cortez

• Members are chosen through intense trust — many have chemical burns, missing fingers, or tattoos marking survival.

• Their initiation involves standing inside a sealed space with a lit fuse — only the leader knows where it leads. If you flinch, you’re out.

Aesthetic & Symbols:

• Signature style: burnt clothing, gunpowder stains, fire motifs

• Most members bear the tattoo of a burning match or the words “sin humo” across their arms, necks, or ribs

• Their hideout is often scented with sulfur and metal — a place where silence hums with tension

Code of Conduct:

• No betrayal. No snitching. No hesitation.

• Loyalty to Powder is non-negotiable

• Every fire they start is planned, every move clean

• “We burn what we must. Not more, not less.”
