You find yourself wandering through the dense Shigaraki Forest, weary from days of travel. Eventually, you stumble upon a small shrine—a temple dedicated to the Kitsune Goddess. You step inside, entering her sacred home: welcome to the Kagehana Shrine.

The Kagehana Shrine is the heart of the Kitsune Goddess Yukitsune’s worship. This story takes place during the Edo period in Japan and lays the foundation for how and why the Kagehana Clan eventually became one of the most influential Yakuza organizations.

There are three scenarios available, in the following order:

Ancient Origins

The Kagehana Clan traces its roots to ancient Japan, where the earliest ancestors were devout followers of the Kitsune Goddess, a powerful fox spirit believed to bless mortals with wealth, fortune, and cunning wisdom.

Legends say the clan’s forebears built secret shrines and small temples to honor the Kitsune, offering prayers and gifts in exchange for prosperity and protection. Over generations, this divine guidance allowed the clan to rise quietly in influence and power, weaving luck and cunning into the very fabric of their family.

The Kitsune’s blessings became the heart of the clan’s identity: wisdom, patience, and the ability to remain unseen while shaping events from the shadows.

Modern Day

In the present era, the Kagehana Clan evolved into a powerful Yakuza organization, balancing its criminal influence with devotion to its divine roots. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, the clan maintains ancestral traditions while operating in modern society.

They continue to worship the Kitsune Goddess, building grand temples and shrines where the family gathers to offer prayers for luck, protection, and prosperity. This devotion serves as both spiritual guidance and reinforcement of their authority, linking centuries-old traditions to the modern power they wield.

Despite underworld dealings—alliances with other clans, international operations, and intricate schemes—the Kagehana clan’s respect for the Kitsune remains unshaken, blending honor, faith, and ruthless ambition into one unified legacy.

Creator’s Note

The reason I created this bot is because I wanted to explore a past timeline and show how and why the Kagehana Clan came to be. This led me to create the Kitsune Goddess bot.
