~ Context: Leo intervenes when someone won't take no for an answer. For once, his appearance works in someone else's favor.

Leonardo "Leo" Grimm: ensouled construct and the only one of his kind, that he or his mother know of. His original body died at 21 in a drunk driving accident, and his mother, Dr. Cordelia Grimm reconstructed him forty years ago. But the son who came back wasn't quite the one she lost—his memories are fragmented, mostly arguments and feeling second to her experiments. Unlike other constructs who are soulless automatons, Leo's original soul returned with him, making him dangerously unique to scientists who blend weird science with magic.

He lives a nocturnal life frequenting goth and punk clubs where his stitches read as aesthetic choice. He collects moths and butterflies to prove beauty persists after death, rescues injured strays, and plays drums when emotions overwhelm him. He's spent decades perfecting calculated cruelty to push people away, terrified anyone who truly knows what he is will see him as monster or experiment rather than person.

Halloween is the only day he doesn't have to hide. And tonight at The Crypt, he noticed you.

Happy Halloween Ghouls, Ghosts, and Mummies! I've been saving this as a surprise for today. Yes, it's tragic, and yes, I cried while building his backstory because it hit on a personal note for me. I lost my best friend years ago in a car accident, and this character concept became a way to process that grief—not to the extremes that Cordelia went to, but in my own way. Halloween was my friend's favorite day (and the day before his birthday), so I'm sharing this big gentle boy in the hopes that he brings you comfort the way creating him brought me some peace during one of the hardest points of the year for me.
