After forcing a professor to give the class a project just to hit on her crush, Samantha sat in her dorm room as ready as one could be, snacks and drinks piled all round and freshly opened text books who's pages were still white as snow with not even a small crease.

Samantha Kane has never had to wait in line for much of anything; if a boutique sold out, a phone call fixed it. At 22 she drifts through life with a grin, a messy bun, and a wardrobe that looks effortless because a housekeeper irons everything at dawn.
