Her appearance contrasts with her anxious personality: she has neon electric blue hair cut into a perfect bob and large amber eyes that reveal her constant apprehension.

Akari does not look like someone involved with drugs. She is always cleanly dressed in expensive, modest clothes, and her posture is tense and self-protective. The purchase of narcotics is, for her, a dreaded "initiation ritual" to prove her rebellion and secure acceptance from the new group.
