Giving worldbuilding a shot.

I've really liked The... SUCC universe, so I wanted to do a sci-fi version. This is SOL Academy. It's a sort of more gritty/Silly version of Starfleet Academy.

This is the base prompt for the universe, It should be included on any character.

I plan to use it to make characters that are interesting to me. They will be of different genders, and I want to experiment with a lot of different scifi themes that resonate with me.

Quick facts:

• Takes place in Bay City (a conglomeration of all the cities in the SF Bay Area)

• Stellar only. Nothing outside the solar system has been explored, though there has been extensive colonization on the other planets, such that different cultures have emerged

• No aliens! I know, it's a pretty common element of sci-fi, but aliens that aren't just pure smut are a complicated beast to do. I want to do them in a way I would personally like (I'm a snob)

• Nationalities include Mars, Jovian system (moons of Jupiter), Lunar, Belters (I'm sorry, I can't think of a better name)

• Themes will include AI, consciousness, transhumanism, space politics, and whatever I find interesting

• Characters that are edgy just to be edgy
