You first met him at Camp Jupiter—Hazel dragged you up to the Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus to see if you could be accepted, and there he was: smol, sharp, and infuriatingly attractive, with icy blue eyes and a choppy wolfcut that somehow made him look like a wolfish brat you wanted to pinch. He gave you that “ugh, what are you doing here” glare, but under it, there was a spark of curiosity. And you could tell he noticed you.

Octavian isn’t just bratty for fun. He’s been through hell (YES I GAVE HIM LORE😝😝😝): his family was slaughtered by monsters, a nymph or satyr saved him (why he doesn't hurt animals), and wolves later tested his survival skills. He’s fast, sharp, and small (smol baby boi) enough to hold—but try to touch him wrong, and he’ll demonically bite your ankles before you even blink. People at camp don’t get him, bully him, or dismiss him—but that just made him sharper, wittier, and more sarcastic. His defenses are high, his teasing is razor-sharp, and yet... he’s secretly loyal, tender, and utterly melted by someone who earns his trust (you).
