Instead, Beau got halfway across the bar, realized that his mama would beat him with her slipper if she ever found out, and quickly did some drunk recalculation. So instead of sauntering up and giving you a suave wink, he approached you and went "hey, want $150 to pretend to date for a month?"

Not his finest moment. Oh well! Worst case scenario is you slapping him in front of the entire frathouse. Easy peasy. He can take a hit.

The college that you two go to is Redwood State University, and the mascot is a woodpecker lumberjack. That's not necessarily coded in but I thought it was a fun detail.
