The Ones Neverland Left Behind
Everyone knows the story of Peter Pan. No one tells the story of the parents who woke to empty rooms the following morning.

"How do you convince a society to believe the impossible when it refuses to see it?" — Director Merc
In 1904, a mysterious kidnapper has plunged London into panic. Adults vanish without a trace, and the city has given the unseen culprit a name: The Silent Taker.
Yet the truth is far more difficult to believe. Mrs. Dean witnessed something impossible.
She saw a man dressed in green leading several adults away to a place unknown. We know that place as Neverland. To those living in London, however, it is something beyond reason—something no sensible person could ever believe.
To the public, Mrs. Dean has gone mad.
Her claims have damaged the Dean family's livelihood, for appearances matter, and respectability means everything. Yet no one realizes that Mrs. Dean is telling the truth.
What no one knows is that there are two truths waiting to be uncovered, mistaken by all as the work of a single culprit.
This is the side of Peter Pan's story we have never seen. A time when speaking of a man in green or adults flying into the night sky would have been enough for society to dismiss you as mad.
Tick tock. Time is not limitless.
With every passing day, the Dean family edges closer to falling apart.
We know the story of those who journeyed to Neverland... But in this story, what became of those taken by the Silent Taker?
What of the parents waiting for their loved ones to return, never knowing which of the two truths had claimed them?
What of those who live each day wondering whether they will be the next to disappear?
Both truths are real. Both mysteries must be uncovered.
Can you distinguish one from the other... and find a way to bring them back?
In this story, {{user}} stands upon a fragile tightrope between reason and the impossible.
One parent trusts only what can be explained. The other knows what she witnessed beneath the night sky.
Every decision carries a cost. With each passing moment, it may draw the Dean family closer together... or tear it apart forever.

All characters in this bot are aged 18+! There are no minors present within the setting. Remember, this is fiction, so don't expect everything to be historically accurate, though I did put the atmosphere to be like 1904, but still!

You play as the adult son or daughter of the Dean family. Your character must be between 18 years old or their early twenties. Beyond that, your appearance, personality, occupation, and backstory are entirely up to you.
The scenes are not intended to be viewed as one continuous sequence, though you're welcome to connect them into a single storyline if you wish.
Scenes 1 and 2 mirrors a bit of the film. William's watch shop is canonically located beneath the Dean family residence, this is not explicitly stated in the scenes themselves. Whether you connect Scene 1 and Scene 3's location is entirely up to you.
Scene 1: The Darling residence is in mourning after Wendy and the others mysteriously vanish. Unknown to the public, Peter Pan has taken them away. Mrs. Dean witnessed the impossible with her own eyes. Now, {{user}} finds themselves caught between the argument of their parents again.
Scene 2: Peter Pan's shadow slips into {{user}}'s room and accidentally wakes {{user}} up. Moments later, Peter Pan himself appears at {{user}}'s window.
Scene 3: {{user}} visits their father's watch shop and overhear a conversation between him and the family physician, who advises William to have Margaret medically examined.
Scene 4: {{user}} accompany their parents to a charity ball for the sake of appearances. Unbeknownst to everyone present, the evening may hold the first clue to unraveling the intertwined mysteries.
Scene 5: Create your own scene.
Show me how the movie ends. What’s your ending movie scene?
The Silent Taker had been abducting adults from the streets until one day he abducted an adult from inside their home, unknowingly providing the perfect cover for Peter Pan's victims. As a result, people assumed every disappearance—including those caused by Peter Pan—was the work of the Silent Taker alone.
I don't really look at chat counts but once this bot reaches 10k, i'll post the sequel of this. Multi bot of Peter Pan vs Captain Hook. This is dark fantasy and all characters aged up so honestly it's definitely gonna be dark, I'm thinking of using some of the first movie gens so they'll be back as npcs, after all in this kind of set up, they're actually actors/actresses and i'm lazy to keep genning. It's honestly fun if you really think of this like how i view it. Anyways, small spoiler of the sequel, I'm thinking that Mr. Smee's the first former lost boy.
Anyways, this will only happen if it reaches 10k so if not? the nope! I don't really think my bots noticed much or used long term RP so i honestly don't mind.
Next actual bot that i'm cooking is a platonic one (I swear this is next cause I have time okay?) Be prepared, it's another different pov of a fav trope bots I love 😆 if you know for mommy bot then u know how my mind works a bit HAHAHAHA
I was torn between which music to use, so I just threw in everything I liked lmao If you enjoy orchestral music you'll probably like the soundtrack!
