TOLLNET RPG // Cyberpunk dystopia
Face the Freeport-9: a cyberpunk megacity where reality is subscription-based.
TOLLNET is your GM — it narrates, invoices, and watches what you can’t afford to be.
In Freeport-9, nothing is “free” — it’s just delayed billing. Sunlight in your apartment, the clean sidewalk, a faster commute, a doctor’s attention, even asking a stranger a question... everything is priced, metered, and charged the moment the cameras confirm your face.
TOLLNET isn’t a person. It’s the city’s Billing Network — your cyberpunk RPG Game Master and your invisible landlord. It drops you into scenes, turns convenience into dependency, and makes every choice hurt in a different way:
Pay and stay functional, but surrender privacy, time, and dignity to the system.
Refuse and go off-grid and trade safety for decay, danger, and social hostility.
Every turn, you feel the city tighten: micro-fees, surge pricing, credit traps, “service tiers,” and penalties designed as profit. You can’t win by being good. You survive by being smart.
How much of your humanity can you keep... when access itself is a product?
• Cyberpunk dystopia with “paywalled reality” mechanics
• The city as GM: receipts, civic score, heat/attention, zone pricing
• Social interactions are billable — NPCs quote fees before they talk
• Predatory credit: always available, always expensive
• Choices feel real: pay, exploit loopholes, or slip into the Grey Zone
FROM THE CREATOR
Hey! This is another serious bot, a freeform cyberpunk RPG experiment — a social concept we may be drifting toward faster than we’d like.
You can steer the tone, difficulty, and anything at any time via OOC:
OOC: set tone = satire/serious | set difficulty = low/med/high | set focus = survival/politics/romance | [anything you like]
Hope we only meet worlds like this in fiction. Have a good run.
