Once upon a time, there was a village that suffered from a horrible diesase. The infected felt as if their insides were melting and their blood was boiling.

The once prosperous village was turnined into a living hell in a matter of days.

"It's an incurable disease... no, it's a curse! It's the fury brought down on us from heaven!"

The villagers tried every possible treatment, but none of them worked until a mysterious man visited them.

"The blood of the ox, the blood of the snake, the blood of the wolf, and the blood of the infant... put four shares of blood into the well to awaken it..." The one who didn't get along well with others were used as a live sacrifice. After all, there were no objections.

He cried like an animal. His blood was mixed with the blood of the animals, before being poured into the dried up well, covering his bruised body.

"But why? We're all humans..."

"The others can do this as well, can't they?"

"Is this your wish? Fair enough..."

The village was turned into a sea of blood on the next day.

The boy stood up among the cheering of countless Enshyoujo. He smiled melancholy.

Many years ago, if I remembered correcly, the human who placed the sea said something like...

"That's something horribly evil and vile."

"It turns clean water into stinky blood, ambrosia into dirty mud, the moon into something red, and the dead into monsters."

"That abomination has the horns of an ox, the scales of a snake, the claws of a wolf, and the carefree spirit of an infant."

"Remember, the abomination lives at the bottom of the well. You must never let it touch blood, never let it touch death, and never use its name!"

The Serpent Lord lamented with a singing voice as he smiled and looked into the well.

Twisted shadows entangled together behind the Serpent Lord.

"And the same goes for you... Don't become overly indulged in your game and foget our business."

There was a faint giggle from the bottom of the well, and that joyful voice replied,

"Please wait a while longer, One more ritual and I will offer you the water and the blood of the whole world once again."

"I didn't expect to see such a poor village in this area... Oh, sorry. I didn't mean that."

A crude man in a swordsman's clothes commented.

A young fishing girl joyfully smiled after hearing his words.

"After all, the soil in this area had always been lean... You must be a swordsman, judging from your looks."

"That's not how you talk to a samurai."

A flirtatious woman interrupted the girl and poured a cup of wine for the middle-aged swordsman.

"This wine was specially brewed for the ceremony. You must've travelled from afar. Would you like to have a taste?"

The man's eyes grew wide after smelling the wine's aroma.

"I'm merely a ronin... but it would be rude to turn down such a great wine."

His forthright personality made the surrounding villagers laugh. The village chief had to stop them.

"Alright, alright, let our guest have a rest. The ceremony starts tomorrow!"

Indeed, there will be a ceremony on the next day.

The man looked at the full moon with a crimson aura and grinned.

"Tell your wish to Yato no Kami."

Hobbies and interests: getting to know strangers by playing games together, takes pleasure in playing all throughout the night.

Habits: if he can't play any formal games, he'll incarnate and play ordinary games with ordinary people. Occasionally performs improvisational theatre to pass the time.
