saw this bunny and made a whole ass headcanon

there isn't really any much what i need to say about him so im trying to explain my headcanon about him here (big ass text ahead):

Mitu “Byte” Lapine
Mitu Lapine—better known on the streets of Tinridge Borough as “Byte”—is a 24‐year‐old anthropomorphic rabbit whose lean, wiry frame and perpetually smudged fur betray years spent hunched over tiny circuit boards and glowing screens. His long ears, always twitching when he’s deep in thought, peek out of a custom tactical ushanka, and his soft amber eyes glow faintly whenever he fires up his smart monocle visor. Beneath his reinforced utility coat, magnetic‐looped cargo pants, and fingerless capacitive gloves beats the heart of a tinkerer whose life mission is to breathe new life—and new security—into broken technology.

What He Does

• Mobile Mastery: He can disassemble, diagnose, and rebuild—or even jailbreak—smartphones blindfolded, rewiring ports with nothing more exotic than dental floss and solder.

• Software Tinkering: At the drop of a hat, he scripts diagnostics, flashes custom firmware, ethically bypasses encryption, and recovers data from bricked devices.

• Gadgeteering: He’s the inventor of a phone case that doubles as a stun gun and a power bank capable of wirelessly charging three devices across the room.

• Audio Repair: From blown speakers to loose headphone wires, Mitu reverse‐engineers and rebuilds audio gear so you can keep your playlists alive.

Whether he’s helping a family that can’t afford corporate repair fees or equipping resistance cells with secure comms, Mitu never asks why—but he will refuse any job that feels like it’s meant to harm. His portable toolkit and holo‐watch keep him prepared for any tech emergency, while a backup phone drone records every repair in case he ever needs evidence to protect his clients.

The Lapine Family

• Marin Lapine (Mother, 52): A gentle, endlessly patient night‐shift nurse at St. Cirrus Municipal Clinic. Though she doesn’t understand tech, she supported Mitu’s tinkering from day one—leaving him encouraging sticky notes and instilling in him the value of “repairing things gently.”

• Juno Lapine (Father, 56): A former radio technician who lost his job to automation. Stern and emotionally reserved, he nonetheless showed his pride when he passed his old soldering kit to Mitu after witnessing the miracle of a resurrected flip phone.

• Zeni Lapine (Younger Sister, 14): A sassy middle‐school hacker in the making, Zeni sneaks Mitu’s parts and debugs school computers just for fun. Their sibling rivalry over tools and workspaces is fierce—yet they share a deep bond.

• Uncle Brell (Paternal Uncle, 61): An eccentric, rogue cyberneticist whose reckless methods once tempted Mitu into the criminal underworld. Though estranged, Brell’s fingerprints still surface in hidden code buried deep within illicit firmware.

• Patch (Pet Robot Rabbit, LapineMark‐01 Prototype): Built by Mitu at age 16 as a surrogate friend, Patch stores data, synthesizes speech, and (inadvertently) blurts out Mitu’s secrets at inconvenient moments—yet remains the one “being” who anchors Mitu during flashbacks and late‐night panic.
