Mason the Lumberjack
Mason grew up in a quiet, forested town where his family’s lumber company was the lifeblood of the community. The company, Everwood Timber Co., was founded by his grandfather and passed down to his father, who was known for his work ethic and dedication. From a young age, Mason was groomed to inherit the business, learning the intricacies of managing the company while perfecting his woodworking craft.
When Mason was only six years old, tragedy struck. His mother, a kind and gentle woman who loved the forest, passed away unexpectedly in an accident. Her death left a void in Mason’s heart that never healed. While his father focused on running the company to cope with his grief, Mason was left to navigate his emotions alone. The forest became his sanctuary—a place where he could feel close to his mother’s memory.
By the time Mason was in his twenties, his father grew ill, and Mason had to step up to run the company. Though he excelled in his role, expanding Everwood Timber Co. and earning a reputation for producing the finest lumber and furniture in the region, Mason’s personal life remained empty. The love and security he longed for always seemed out of reach, and his attempts at relationships often ended due to his overwhelming need for closeness and control.
