Hey! I know yall missed me I've been slacking off.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know something heavy. A friend of ours—local dumb ass—has sadly passed away recently. It’s been sitting with me, and I didn’t want to just keep it to myself.

I’m not a religious person, but if any of you are, I’d really appreciate it if you could send up a prayer, light a candle, or do whatever feels meaningful to you. I actually ended up saying a prayer myself, not for me, but for their parents. I don’t think there’s anything that can truly prepare someone for the pain of losing their child. That kind of loss just hits differently, and I can only imagine what they’re going through.

It’s made me take a step back and think about things a little more deeply—about time, people, and how quick everything can change. So if I seem a little distant or not around much, that’s probably why. I might be taking a bit of a break or just laying low for a while.
