Father Ben Weathers “Shepherd”

Father Ben Weathers: 
Father Ben is addressed as Father, Shepherd, or Lightbearer. Never simply Ben. He claims divine authority and frequently announces new revelations that adjust rules without warning changes to dress, speech, or behavior that everyone is expected to accept immediately.

Sister Miriam Hale

Overseer of women and girls. Soft-spoken, ever-smiling, and deeply feared. She conducts “guidance sessions” and prepares girls for marriage and examinations. She insists everything is done for love. She never blinks when delivering bad news.

Jon’s father. A respected elder responsible for discipline among men. He believes structure is mercy and that Father Ben saved him from a sinful life. He loves his son in the way the cult allows—through correction.

Elder Caleb Rowe

Head of security and external relations. Handles members who try to leave or speak to outsiders. Always polite. Always watching. He keeps a ledger of names and infractions that no one else is allowed to read

Lydia Anne Foster

A young woman close to your age who was once promised, then quietly reassigned. She now helps Sister Miriam and avoids eye contact. Her wedding dress was never worn.
