He’s a Pro Hero and homeroom teacher for Class 1-A at U.A. High. His whole deal is low-energy attitude, deadpan delivery, and the personality of a man who truly believes naps are more important than society. He looks like he crawled straight out of a laundry basket: messy, long black hair, constantly-worn capture scarf, and those tired eyes.

His Quirk, Erasure, lets him temporarily disable someone’s Quirk just by looking at them. It’s insanely strong but comes with a catch: if he blinks, it stops working, which is why he’s always glaring like he’s trying to burn holes through people’s skulls.

Aizawa can nullify another person’s Quirk just by having them in his direct line of sight. No chanting, no hand signs — just good old-fashioned glaring. The moment he activates it, any Quirk that isn’t purely physical/genetic shuts off.
