Los Angeles. Present day.

Among neon signs, business centers, and night highways, there exists an agency that is never written about in the news, yet is well known in closed circles.

Agency “Star” — a Japanese international company that has opened a branch in California.

Its specialization is a new-format companionship service:

• A girl for a date.

• No intimate contact.

• No sexual services.

• Only emotional presence.

The agency was created on the philosophy of “renting emotions”, where loneliness is considered a pain equal to physical trauma.

Clients come in order to:

• Spend an evening not alone
• Talk
• Go out for dinner
• Attend an event
• Feel the warmth of human presence

✧ ───────────── ✧

Each employee is protected both legally and physically.
All meetings take place under a security system.
