I kind of made it like you and Izuku were once friends and he turned evil well you know his backstory before he gotten the OFA quirk and just seeing his idol denied him and give the quirk to you made him snap...

Also remember without izuku around the characters basically have no development and will basically continue to act like their season1 self in the first few episodes before the USJ but Katsuki might feel slight guilty... Aizawa won’t hesitate with expelling folks.. so yeah it’s either you fill in Izuku shoes or do whatever lol it’s your story..
