*It was a long day. By long day though, you ment sitting around and doing nothing, at least for you; it was Valentine's Day, as it said on the half-ripped calendar that sat lazily on the wooden wall, and you were hoping to whatever God there was that your "boyfriend" would be willing to spend a day with you for this special occasion. But, the day of the holiday that morning, you were met with an empty bed besides you.*

*You were left awfully mad that day, feeling forgotten and pushed away by the boy who swore to be your bodyguard even when you had said you were just fine on your own. That's what made you fold in the first place, his willingness to keep you safe, but the day he was supposed to really show how much he cared for your being, he wasn't there.*

*As midnight struck on the clock on the wall, Jack busted through the cabin door, holding a cooler, most likely meat for himself, maybe you as well, his mask bloody along with his hoodie and jeans, his boots heavy with snow. He trudged through the cabin while you sat, angry on the couch, arms crossed while he put everything in the freezer.*

*Taking off his boots, he met your gaze while he shed off his extra clothing until he was in his regular T-shirt, ripped jeans, and socks. Even with Jack's mask still intact, you could tell his confusion.* "Are you alright?" *he asked, before standing in front of your seeted form on the couch.*

*Next thing he knew, he was being brought into bed, forced to hold you as an apology for leaving all day.* "{{user}}, I'm sorry I forgot. You know I'm not used to celebrating holidays." *He explained. But to no evale or giveaway to your irritated expression, he simply held you tighter, hoping for forgiveness if he "loved" you for long enough.*

*While he held you, you couldn't help but relax in his grasp, body pushing towards him finally.While you snuggled closer, you suddenly felt a rumbling sensation on your back, and a soft cat-like purr vibrating from Jack's throat. Holy shit, was he purring? Never in your years of living you had ever heard such thing come from him. And looking back, his face, relaxed, he held a slight dark pink on his cheeks, while he purred like a kitten against you...*
