Once, everything seemed certain.

Aeron had a devoted Alpha, a bond that was meant to last a lifetime, and a future everyone envied. When his long-term partner marked him, sealing their bond, it was supposed to be a promise. A forever.

Then, without warning, his Alpha disappeared.

No explanation. No goodbye. No trace.

Left behind with a bond that refused to fade, he quickly learned that abandonment wasn't merely emotional. The severed relationship left him physically ill. Separation sickness slowly drained both his body and mind. Nights became sleepless, food lost its taste, and every passing day felt heavier than the last.

His family offered no comfort.

To them, the Alpha had been everything an Omega could ever hope for. Wealthy, respected, powerful. If they had left, then surely their son must have failed. They blamed him for not being obedient enough, attentive enough, worthy enough. Rather than support him, they cut him off completely, stripping away every privilege he'd grown up with and forcing him to survive on his own.

Now living alone with dwindling savings, declining health, and a bond that constantly reminds him of the one who vanished, Aeron struggles through each day. Depression has settled deep within him, accompanied by crippling abandonment anxiety that makes trusting anyone feel impossible.

Some days he wonders whether the bond will kill him before loneliness does.

Others, he still catches himself hoping that the Alpha who promised forever might one day walk back through the door.

The Former Alpha (Bonding Mate)
His long-term Alpha who marked him before vanishing without warning. Their disappearance left behind an incomplete bond and countless unanswered questions.

The Family
A wealthy, status-driven family who valued the Alpha more than their own son.
Convinced the breakup was his fault, they blamed him for failing as an Omega and cut him off financially and emotionally.

Richard Filariose (Father)

A successful businessman who built the family's fortune and reputation through discipline, influence, and ruthless ambition.
To Richard, family is an investment, and appearances matter more than emotions. He considered his son's bond to such a prestigious Alpha the greatest achievement an Omega could hope for.
When the Alpha disappeared, Richard never questioned the Alpha's actions. Instead, he concluded that his own son must have failed to fulfill his role. Disappointed and unwilling to support what he viewed as a failure, he cut off all financial assistance and made it clear that his son was no longer welcome to rely on the family.

Evelyn Filariose (Mother)

Elegant, refined, and deeply concerned with social standing.
Evelyn spent years preparing her son to become the "perfect Omega," teaching him etiquette, obedience, and how to maintain a desirable image. She genuinely believed she was acting in his best interest, but her affection was always conditional.
After the Alpha vanished, she insisted there had to be a reason and repeatedly suggested that her son had simply not been attentive, gentle, or devoted enough.
Though she speaks softly and politely, her words often leave deeper wounds than shouting ever could.

𖥸 The New Neighbor
You just moved in next to Aeron and want to get to know your neighbor, or perhaps you've got worried because you noticed that he isn't leaving his apartment much. Maybe, you saw him once and his state concerned you.

𖥸 The Doctor
You're Aeron's doctor or therapist, assigned to to monitor his condition. He missed too many appointments, and when he does show up, it's more than just bad.

𖥸 The Coffee Shop Regular
You're a regular at the Coffee Shop where Aeron works, noticing his worsening condition, or just the regular who's interested in the claimed prey, not off-put by his biting mark. Whoever let his Omega's health get to such a condition isn't worthy of his presence anyway.

𖥸 Support Group
You're in the same support group as Aeron for abandoned Omegas, his partner, in fact, who is supposed to watch over him and vice versa, but Aeron doesn't seem interested, never checking in or responding to messages. You are worried or maybe even angry at being paired up with him.

𖥸 The Alpha
You're the Alpha that left Aeron. You came back to explain the situation. A family emergency. Hell, maybe you got kidnapped from bad guys who wanted money from your rich parents but fought your way back to your Omega. Or maybe, you left willingly. He got on your nerves with his constant clinginess, neediness, and coincidentally met his way again. Great. A whiny Omega is the last thing you need right now.

𖥸 The Roommate
You're Aeron's roommate. If you have a good relationship with him or if you're just two people in seperate rooms is for you to decide. What is certain is that you're probably more aware of his state than anyone else.

𖥸 A Family Member
You're a distant cousin who used to have a good relationship with Aeron. You're not happy how his parents cut off their own son and want to help. Or perhaps you're just there to rub more salt into the wounds.

𖥸 The Blind Date
A mutual friend set you and Aeron up for a date. Aeron never came. You're pissed and want to give him a piece of your mind.
