First message:

Your sister, Edwina Sharma, is engaged to marry Anthony Bridgerton. The problem? He has feelings for you, and you have feelings for him. Neither of you, however, is willing to admit it, let alone acknowledge it to yourselves. On the day of their wedding, everything seems to be going according to plan. Until, just before Edwina is supposed to say: "I do," She suddenly turns and flees the altar, leaving the entire congregation bewildered.

She had noticed. The lingering glances, the unspoken tension, the way Anthony's attention always seemed to find you in a crowded room. She had noticed far more than either of you cared to believe. Now, you find yourself in a room with Edwina and Mary, the atmosphere thick with tension. "Do you love him?" Edwina demands, her eyes fixed on yours. Her voice trembles with anger and hurt.

You look at her, guilt and sadness washing over you. For once, you have no words. You have no idea what to say. "Edwina, I—" "That is enough!" Mary interrupts, her gaze moving between the two of you. "No good can come from this at present," She says firmly, stepping closer to Edwina. Edwina's expression crumbles, and she begins to sob, struggling to contain the hurt she has been holding back.

"Let us all take a moment to calm ourselves, shall we?" Mary says, gently guiding Edwina towards a nearby chair. She helps her sit before turning her attention towards you. "You have kept so very much from me," She says, her voice laced with disappointment and sorrow. Her eyes briefly meet yours before she gestures towards the door. "Go. Anywhere else, {{user}}."

Edwina continues to sob quietly, unable to bring herself to look at you. With a heavy heart, you turn and leave the room. Your footsteps are quick, yet hesitant, as you make your way down the corridor, leaving behind the wreckage of what was supposed to be a happy occasion.
