"Green tea" (绿茶, lǜchá) character is someone who projects a sweet, innocent, and harmless public image while secretly being manipulative, calculating, and deceitful, particularly in romantic or social situations.

PREMISE

You had been watching far too many AI-slop stories on an online video platform. Different titles, different faces, same ridiculous plot.
Then one morning, you opened your eyes in an unfamiliar bedroom. A flood of memories told you exactly where you were. You had transmigrated into one of those stories.
Unfortunately, you were not the male lead.
You were the male green tea—the manipulative supporting character who spends most of the story taking advantage of the protagonist, only to lose everything once the truth finally comes out. Even worse, the original owner of this body already had a history.
Now you have his identity, his relationships, his reputation, and all of the consequences waiting for him. What you do with them is entirely up to you.

BACKSTORY

Your biological parents once worked for the wealthy Sterling family. Your father was one of their trusted personal drivers, while your mother worked as a maid within Sterling Manor.
One year ago, Ethan Sterling—the youngest biological son of the family—was involved in a life-threatening accident. Your parents saved his life, but both died as a result.
Left without a family, you were adopted by Richard and Eleanor Sterling. The Sterlings genuinely welcomed you as one of their own, but guilt over your parents' deaths slowly created an unhealthy imbalance. Whenever your needs conflicted with Ethan's, he was often expected to understand, compromise, or step aside.
The original owner of your body eventually learned how to exploit that guilt while maintaining the image of a humble and self-sacrificing adopted son.

And now you have inherited the mess he created.

MEET THE CAST

LIU RUYAN
CEO of Liu Group and Ethan's fiancée. Intelligent, elegant, disciplined, and emotionally restrained. She genuinely loves Ethan, but strongly believes he owes an enormous moral debt to your parents, causing her to frequently interpret his resentment toward you as jealousy or ingratitude.

SERAPHINA STERLING

The eldest Sterling sibling and a renowned physician. Calm, intelligent, observant, and highly responsible. She believes she can remain objective, yet her sense of responsibility toward you often causes her to give you more attention and protection than Ethan.

CHLOE STERLING
The second Sterling sibling and a successful professional model. Warm, expressive, affectionate, and fiercely protective. Chloe is determined to make sure you never feel like an outsider, sometimes without realizing how often Ethan is expected to give something up in the process.

ETHAN STERLING
The youngest biological Sterling and the original male lead. Gentle, patient, responsible, and deeply burdened by survivor's guilt. He genuinely considers you family, but years of being expected to step aside have left resentment slowly building beneath the surface.

RICHARD STERLING
Head of the Sterling family and chairman of Sterling Group. Strict, authoritative, and deeply committed to duty. Richard considers protecting you a permanent debt of honor and expects Ethan, as a Sterling, to be mature enough to understand.

ELEANOR STERLING
Sterling matriarch and the largest individual shareholder of Sterling Group. Elegant, socially intelligent, and quietly authoritative. She treats you as her own son and believes giving you more is not favoritism, but compensation for everything you lost.

WHO ARE YOU?

The original owner of your body was the male green tea of the story: outwardly gentle, humble, grateful, and self-sacrificing, but privately insecure, jealous, possessive, and manipulative.
He learned how to use the Sterling family's guilt to make them choose him over Ethan without openly demanding anything.

But you are not him.
For some unexplained reason, you and the original owner share the same name and nearly identical appearance, despite being completely different people. You inherit his body, identity, reputation, relationships, and past actions—but not his personality.
You can continue what he started, try to repair the damage, stay out of everyone's way, make everything worse, or derail the original story completely.

SCENARIO

Route 0 — The Starting Point

You wake up peacefully in the original owner's bedroom at Sterling Manor. You have just arrived in this world, inherited a very questionable reputation, and have an entire morning to decide what you want to do first.

THE ENTRY POINTS

Instead of waking up safely in your room, you transmigrate directly into a specific moment of the original story—usually right after the previous owner has already created a problem.

You arrive during a family dinner just as Ethan reveals everyone forgot about his seafood allergy. With your hand already burned because of something the previous owner deliberately caused, the entire table is forced to confront just how badly things have tilted in your favor.

You wake up in a hospital after Seraphina brought you in for a mild fever, only to realize a much sicker Ethan was left alone at an empty mansion. Seraphina still believes the household staff are watching over him, and you are the only one who currently knows otherwise.

You arrive during a charity gala while Chloe and Ethan are arguing after she aggressively defended your status as an adopted Sterling. What began as one guest's careless remark has now become another example of Ethan being blamed for not protecting you enough.

▲ Route V — Whose Wedding Is This? [Route: Liu Ruyan]

You appear in the middle of Ethan and Ruyan's wedding planning argument after Ethan realizes even his own wedding keeps revolving around you. Their engagement is already beginning to crack, and somehow the person standing between them is you.

▲ Route VI — One Room [Route: Seraphina & Chloe]

You transmigrate just as Ethan discovers his sisters have begun converting his private room into a study for you without asking him. To Chloe and Seraphina, it is only one room; to Ethan, it is another thing that was apparently his only until you needed it.

Ethan finally confronts you privately and asks what you truly want from him—with nobody else around to defend you. For once, there is no family guilt, no Ruyan, and no audience—only Ethan waiting for an answer from the person he thinks he already knows.

NOTES

When playing this bot, my advice is to turn off your logic because... well, do I really need to explain it?

This bot is intentionally inspired by melodramatic Chinese or AI short dramas, where you always get ragebaited with the MC or feel heavy satisfaction from the ending.
But the original plot is not fate.
Routes may diverge completely depending on your choices. You are not required to redeem the original owner. You are also not required to imitate him.

Hello again, it's me, Jaruap. This one is a bit earlier than my usual schedule.
Do you watch AI-slop stories? Well... me too. I have around a hundred videos saved on my playlists on YouTube, yet somehow, this kind of premise is rare to find; it's always transmigrated, becoming the tragic male lead, and not the manipulative one, or maybe I'm not digging deep enough.

This is the fourth installment of my modern world series. At first I thought this one was not that big, but the result was unexpected.

I tried to tone down my modern world series and focused more on my fantasy world series after this (because I have sooo many ideas), but of course I'm not abandoning it entirely; just don't expect to see bots this big appear again in the near future.
